Quick Raw Vegan Live In Consult

Happy day All!!

Oh my was it hard to choose the Title, was either Quick Raw Live in Consult, or Fear and Loathing in Florida, hmmmmmm.

Did I make the right choice? Fear and loathing in Florida is really sweet too! hmm ahah

Anyhow with both those title choices I think you got the gist of what to expect!!!

I do hope you enjoy it!!

Check out these pages if you would wish to know more about my Consultations or my Full time Live in Consultations!

Well well well,

After sending off my family back to saskatoon, well not really, I got picked up by Chris Donmoyer a fellow skater looking for some guidance and inspiration on a healthier fitter raw vegan lifestyle. We dubbed our time Fear and Loathing in Orlando/ Florida, hmmm that title again! Right fromthe getgo we were flowing smooth, we had met months previous at a skateboard expo tradeshow and knew it would be a sweet time!

1st stop, the SPoT, or the Skate park of Tampa. The SPoT is the oldest and most successful indoor skatepark to my knowledge, over 17 years old, world renown as the seat of one of the biggest am and pro contests in the world, truly a skate park owned and operated by skateboarders! Love it, blessings Brian Schaefer you have a great SPoT!!! The last time I was at the Skate Part of Tampa was in 2000 I do believe, I was a skater in the amateur contest, surely one of the biggest am contests in the world. I actually did not too bad ending up around 50th place out of 130 top amateur skateboarders. I was up against well know pros Ryan Sheckler, then a wee boy, Elisa Steamer, Aaron Suski, Ryan Smith, Galia Momolu among many other amazing skaters that year.

We had a amazing time, skating all sections of the park as well as getting just a tid bit of skateboard footage for you to watch! Hope you enjoy!

In the parking lot Chris opened up his magical box of banana’s oranges and Pineapple Oranges!! Thats right, Pineapple Oranges!!! Soooo good and actually taste just just like the name suggests. Florida produce is soo soo soo good! Thanks Chris For the Bounty.

A quick pit stop at the local health store for some organic fruits and veggies and we were set for the weekend!!!

1st big meal, Simple raw Chili (one of my faves) with Guacamole in Romaine leaf wraps with Alfalfa sprouts. Soo ridiculously good I cant stand it!!! For sure for sure will be in my new “Cravings Busters Transitional Raw Recipes” coming out soon! We both enjoyed much and got a good nights sleep.

The next morning I finished a blog post entitles “DC  Commercials behind the Scenes” a amazing look into the making of a big time skate companies commercials, check it for some great skate footage and bloopers, one of my best!!! In the day we enjoyed a afternoon on one of Florida’s amazing beaches, caught some sun while enjoying some Yoga and some instruction on a few ways to integrate more Calisthenics into Chris’s flow. Banana’s and a bike ride followed with much sweetness!

For our last dinner I made a sweet fruit soup, I love fruit soup and Chris Did too, followed by one of my all time favorites Cashew Pad Thai!!! Way way way too good, we really enjoyed the meal and time!

A short nap brough 5 am too quick leading to my departure to Costa Rica. Being 4 hours away from Orlando where my Flight left it was a bit of a journey there. Thanks so much Chris for everything, was a really sweet time look forward to more!

Since our time Chris ha been flowing more n more raw all the while feeling better and better!!

To more adventures!!

Raw Vegan on a Cruise?

Eating as a Raw Vegan on a Cruise?

Happy day all!!!!

Can it be done?

Eating raw on a cruise?

Wonder how to survive traveling as a raw vegan?

hmmmm

Well I enjoy the heck out of it, Hope you enjoy this video!!!

oh oh my also bonus Bioelectric Impedance test, that is body composition test to figure out if I am healthy hmmmmmmm ahhah

So Raw on a cruise eh, well raw on a Disney Cruise to be more exact!!!

I love traveling as a raw vegan!

Planned for over a year n a half my family (13 of us!) went on a trip to Disney world in florida, Check “Raw Vegan in Disney World” and then a 5 night cruise on Disney’s Dream cruise ship. Disney’s Dream is their newest cruise ship, its maiden voyage in January of 2011. We got on only weeks after its first trips!! Filled with anticipation, especially for the youngans, we boarded this miraculous vessel.

My first eating experience was amazing, with buffet style salad bars and bowls of fruit I enjoyed as much fruit bowls as I wanted then filled up on salad. Perfect!!! Our first night at the restaurant (breakfast and lunch can be eaten anywhere with a few buffets available, dinner was manditory at a restaurant with a menu) I simply ordered from the menu, that is my usually style picking the 2 – 5 ingredients I saw in some dishes and asking for a large plate of those, plane. The head of the dinner service wished to come talk to me, after discussing my dietary needs she decided that they would appoint one chef as my chef for every dinner meal, Chef Matthew would in effect be my personal raw chef!!! Whoooo whooooo. hahah It turned out his sister was a raw foodist so he knew a few tricks and was stoked for the challenge!

After Chef Matthew came and talked with me regarding the items I enjoy the most and what I typically eat he took it on himself to create a different 3 course meal for me entirely raw and simple each night. Enjoy the video to see his creations, lest it be know they were really really amazing, a few higher fat than I would usually eat but all the same a huge huge blessing, one I am most greatful for. Thanks soo soo much Chef Matthew you made traveling as a raw vegan, being a raw vegan on a cruise a blissful experience. I felt truly spoiled and challenged to finish each meal he really made me huge huge portions of each dish!!

I love traveling as a raw vegan!

With Live action plays every night, geared to both kids and adults, 2 full size theaters playing brand new movies, 2 pools, 2 giant watersides, many buffets including a fresh fruit  bar, spa’s hot tubs, a epic gym, it would have been hard not to enjoy and be in bliss. We landed for one day in Nassau, a awesome island in the Caribbean. While there I skateboarded around and found the local farmers market. There I found some amazing sugar banana’s, so small and sweet n local, as well as some Sapodilla, a really sweet round fruit that literally tastes like brown sugar and a pear mixed, rawdiculous!!! Since one cant bring island fruit onto the cruise???? I had to eat all I bought before returning aboard, not a problem for the Banana Commander!!!! Delicious sweet meal enjoyed much!

Another night on the cruise ship and we landed at Disney island, a entire island owned completely by Disney for the purpose of cruises. Beautiful beaches, snorkeling ( to enjoy some underwater filming while snorkeling in Maui check out Maui Wowie part 2!) as well as a huge sliced fruit cart, well I was in bliss. Oh did I mention yoga on the beach, hot dang!!!

I love traveling as a raw vegan!!!!

One last night after a most epic meal by Chef Matthew he gave us a certificate memorializing our time together as he said chefing for me was a Magical moment, it certainly was for me too!!! Thanks again chef Matthew you really made my time as a raw vegan on the cruise a joy!!! As a special thank you I gave Matthew a copy of my “101 frickin Rawsome Recipes” as well as my “10 Sure Shot Ways to Drastically Improve your Health”.

Thanks sooo sooo much Mom n Dad, it was such a amazing time, love and miss you all.

Hope you all enjoyed!!

Raw Vegan in Disney World!

Happy day all!!

Well I made it into the states!!

I am stoked to bring you this video of me and my family in Raw Vegan in Disney World!

P.s If you havent checked out my Raw Vegan Interview or Simple Raw Recipe / Skate Video on Peta2 the youth mission of Peta check the next blog post or simply Click Here!!!

With 12 of us total we had such a amazing time in Disney world. A family tradition (having went once about 15 years ago) we plan to go back in another 10 or so years so the kids can see it from another perspective.

Love it, thanks Mom and Dad love n miss you all!!

Beyond the usual day in the life type blog this fun video will show you tips, tricks, and fun facts concerning traveling as a raw food vegan. Having traveled raw extensively I have been forced to learn how to get my fill while on a budget as well as on the go! While Staying Raw While traveling can be tricky at times, having some backups like raisins, dates and or other dried fruit can for sure help as well as knowing that celery is a hearty long lasting veggie you can travel with. Being flexible and simply buying up whatever is at a decent price and ripe helps tons too. I go more into this as well as getting creative with a few simple ingredients in the video as well as giving tips for being raw and enjoying eating at restaurants.

One amazing tip I didnt really say in the blog is that Banana’s are one of the few fruits you can travel with internationally.

I belive this is becasue they are most often seedless so not a danger for agriculture.

I really hope you enjoy this video tons!!

Wishing you much
